About me
I was born in Uruguay. At 14, an Israeli couple recognized my potential and helped me move to Israel to fulfil my dream of becoming a professional dancer. I joined the Batsheva Dance Company, directed by Ohad Naharin, where I first encountered the idea of truly listening to the body, through the Gaga movement language. It was there I began to understand the power of connecting body and mind, of moving beyond limitation and into pleasure and possibility.
Twenty years ago, I moved to Berlin to work with some of Europe's leading choreographers. It was here that I encountered something many of us carry: how fear and pain can quietly become our enemies, slowly taking away our ability to fully inhabit what we love most.
Searching for a way through, I discovered somatic work, approaches that use the body's own experience to reach what the mind alone cannot. I trained in the Grinberg Method and later the Pantarei Approach, and through more than a decade of practice, thousands of individual sessions, and deep immersion in how bodies change, I developed a deep and original understanding of how bodies move, feel, express, and heal.
From that meeting of movement and somatic work, Fluentbody was born, a method rooted in curiosity, awareness, and an unshakeable belief that the body holds the door to transformation.
In 2021, the Fluentbody Academy teacher training began in Berlin. Since then, nine cohorts have moved through the programme, around 25 people each, and a living, growing community of facilitators has taken root. Today, that community continues to deepen through advanced courses, retreats, and exclusive online sessions. Fluentbody gatherings now take place in different parts of the world, carrying the practice to new places and people.
This community is something I tend to with great care. In a time of ongoing global crises, of disconnection, polarization, and collective stress held silently in our bodies, I believe this work matters more than ever. Helping people return to themselves, to each other, and to a felt sense of agency and aliveness is not just meaningful to me. It is my life's work.
If something here speaks to you, reach out. I would love to connect.
